2012 reflection

These are some of my highlights of this year until I go to intermediate. What I liked about vardon was when I first started I was really shy like now I'm still a bit shy of dancing and its only just dancing, whats wrong with me. Vardon was the best school ever, every one was very kind to me  and I had friends like my neighbors. My neighbors were like my cousins when they were my cousins Jamie and Steven.

When I was in the middles I was in room 8 then room 7 but room 8 was the first middle class I went to. The middle classes were cool but when they started to talk about camp when i was in room 7 I was really excited and ready for all the things like rock climbing and that kind a stuff.

In the seniors I was like a leader of the middles. The class that I was in was room 15 and when I got to know the teacher he was like the best teacher in whole school his name was Mr Marquand, he is really nice and he is kind and awesome. When we were ready for camp I was jumping with excitement. We stayed down Karakariki street were the camp was.

SAME SAME but DIFFERENT

This is a photo of five different faces. How I made this strip photo was our teacher Mr Marqaund went on google images  so we could make this strip photo. When he was finished he cut them into straight lines to make it and then he would do the girls and boys faces groups. Then you would find some photos in your group and then glue them and thats how you make a photo strip.

Swim safe

  1. On Monday the 12 of November it was our first day of swim safe. We had to do different styles of swimming like freestyle, back stroke and breath stroke. My favourite swimming style was breath stroke and freestyle. Those are my favourite swimming styles out all of them. The next day was hard because back stroke i really need to learn to keep in a straight line well not really but still i kinda need work on keeping in a straight line.

For our assembly we did our greetings, synonyms, game show that was cool, Epal skit,  Baileys ! AWESOME! Prezi, the world as 100 people posters, talents, Bruno mars count on me song and finally cow to glass. The best thing that I liked was the cow to glass. My friend Bailey was really funny in our cow to glass skit. Also i did a greeting it was "Kia Ora is hello in Maori" I liked the assembly it was really awesome.

Cross Counrty Day

On cross country day we had to walk all the way to Minogue park to do our cross country. When we got to the park the nine year old girls had to get ready and do stretches so they can get ready. When they finished it carried on till it got to eleven year old boys and girls. It was also really muddy and tiring. When it was my race I was scared and shaky. When the teacher said go I sprinted off and was in fourth place. I was almost on my second lap and I wasn't really muddy as everyone else was. Then I was on my last lap and trying to get in front but I couldn't get past Usman so I tried my best and came fourth and made it into the interschool cross country. The hardest part of the cross country was going up a HUGE hill that puffed me out a lot of times.

Kaleidoscop

Rotation, Reflection. The challenging part was to cut threw a strait line up words. That was really hard for me but i got past it. The next thing we did was to carefully cut them into little pieces so we can make a kaleidoscope. Then we had to get another piece of paper and glue it. We glued a line down and put the little pieces on the glued line. And that's how i made my kaleidoscope.
